Self-Employed

I want to overcome the challenges that come with being self-employed.

With nearly 20% of all income earners in Canada being self-employed (at least part-time), we often wonder why it is so difficult for this growing demographic to obtain a mortgage.

There are two categories of self-employed individuals: those who can prove their income over a two-year period using their tax returns and those who are unable to prove adequate income due to expensing as much as possible in order to minimize their taxes payable.

The good news is that there are mortgage solutions available to those self-employed individuals who are unable to prove their income through traditional means.  Let us guide you through the options.
